      Shit man I am a top ten expert in an extremely niche area with my work cited thousands of times and I still feel like I don’t know shit and will be in a state of constantly falling behind until I die.

        Come on you must know your niche thing. I have confidence issues as well but stuff I have done who knows how many hundreds of times I know how to do.

        I try to divide up the unknowns in any project. Knowing the exact point where my knowledge ends and begins again. If I know what I don’t know I can still have confidence in that much.

          Imposter syndrome can affect anyone, no matter how experienced or knowledgeable they are.
