The Israel-Gaza war is “taking away the focus” from the conflict in Ukraine, the country’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has admitted.

He said this was “one of the goals” of Russia, which launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

And he denied that fighting in Ukraine had reached a stalemate, despite a recent assessment to this effect by the country’s top military general.

Ukraine’s counter-offensive in the south has so far made little headway.

This has prompted fears of war fatigue among Kyiv’s Western allies, with suggestions of growing reluctance in some capitals to continue giving Ukraine advanced weapons and funds.

It’s the distraction of his followers trying a civil war if the negatives happen

Him being a puppet of Russia and Russia being a puppet of China means he will interfere with foreign policy. Even if the US declares war he can station the whole army on the Mexican border to try and keep them away from it. Remember he was trying to dissolve NATO

You said he doesn’t factor into foreign policy but he has a track record of it

Whether you support him or oppose him you have to know he is better for America’s enemies and worse for it’s allies

There were 4 years for that, it’s no delusion to accept it happened and assume it will happen again

Supporting or opposing it depends on your side but since this was talking about chances for America’s enemies then it is retarded to say he’s not their best bet
