Theoretically, having the intelligence to be able to teach itself (in so many words) how to deceive someone to cover for a crime while also carrying out a crime would be pretty impressive imo. Like, actually learning John Nash’s game theory and an awareness of different agents in the actual world, when you are starting from being a LLM, would be pretty significant, wouldn’t it?
But it’s not, it’s just spitting out plausibly-formatted words.
