Like all countries there are bad parts of the German fan scene but as a whole it seems very healthy from the outside. Advocating on a big scale for a healthy football world where the average person can afford to keep going to matches.

    Respect as always.

Of course fans of one of the biggest clubs in the world would say this.

The current group stage is TERRIBLE. Due to seeding, you can predict the 2 teams that will progress probably 90% of the time. A league system will be more unpredictable & entertaining in my opinion. People just hate change don’t they?

Honestly I felt the same way until playing the new system on Football Manager. Now I really like it. They fucked up by making it 8 group stage games instead of keeping it at 6 but otherwise im excited for the change.

I actually really like the new UCL format. Plays really well on football manager. We’ll see how well that translates to real life, but in the game, I find the round robin more entertaining. Each team plays a variety of teams instead of 3 teams twice, plus for me. And top tier teams have 2-4 matches against each other instead of something like Man city’s group where only vs Leipzig is interesting.

Ya ya, I know, change is bad, FIFA is only doing this for more money. Let the downvotes flow

It’s pretty easy for Bayern to say when their places are basically guaranteed regardless.
