The reason people on here rag on you is because the guy in OP’s post is a banker, not a party member, most corruption of the party was purged when Xi Jinping came to assume the post of president back in the 2010’s. Cases like OP are actually increasingly rare precisely because anti-corruption drives are and were so effective and harsh, meanwhile in the West you can fuck up an entire economy and get rewarded for it. So people are mocking you because A) your comment is grossly misinformed, ignores historical context of the US trying to destabilize the Chinese government by buying out party members for several years provoking a reckoning and anti corruption drives, B) fails the very basic task of distinguishing public servants and private sector actors, and C) regurgitates some form of sinophobia, of the asians as a horde, eg: stability of the party (lol, lmao, even), which people here are very quick to point out.
