Threads still requires an Instagram account to sign up, though.

Threads finally lets you delete your account separately from Instagram::Meta is rolling out a new feature that will let you delete your Threads account separately from Instagram. You can access the feature from a new “Delete or Deactivate” setting.

    That’s literally the opposite of what it needs to be. I wanted to check out threads out of curiosity but I don’t want to have an Instagram account, so I won’t.
