Hello! Housing is unaffordable in Ontario, but the NDP are putting forward ways to change this. One is Bill 58. This is a bill to put more teeth into stopping the common practice of “renovictions”, where landlords kick out tenants, renovate the place, and then rent it later at a much higher price.

    Just a word of caution. About 2min after filling this out, one of the fields being my phone number, I got a call from a number in Alabama.

    I answered but didn’t speak. They didn’t speak first and hung up after about 30 seconds.

    I dont often get calls like that. Possibly a coincidence but if it happens to anyone else here then somthing may be up.
