You joke but those and helmet laws all should be repealed. We need to stop protecting people from Darwin. When the stupid assholes can’t cull themselves naturally it drives the average intelligence downward.

We see the results of this in modern society with the number of iPhone owners. No one should want an iPhone but marketing is all it takes for the stupid to be convinced.

And yet … here you are.

Only because he’ll get a ticket if he’s caught not wearing his seatbelt.

Funny thing, if you pretend to take off your seat belt it looks like you were wearing one. Seatbelt laws are useless tyranny.

…until you’re personally involved in a fatal accident—even if by no fault of your own—where the other party would have survived. Post traumatic stress is no joke. I don’t think we should aspire to have a society with more suffering.

Lol. Forcing people to do your bidding just ‘in case’ someone dies in your vicinity. What a tyrant.

The argument I’ve made is that I don’t wish to personally suffer psychological damage because of somebody’s death. We don’t allow others to inflict harm in other ways, and this is in my opinion no different. It has nothing to do with tyranny.

No, you’ve demanded other people restrict themselves so that you are spared the ‘chance’ of “personally suffer psychological damage because of somebody’s death”.

Pretending your demands have no consequence on others isn’t a valid defense. It’s pure selfishness expressed as tyranny.

What an absolutely absurd position you’ve chosen to take on this. I can only hope for the sake of compassion that this is not what you actually believe.

"Forces others to do their bidding and draws on ‘compassion’ to justify it. "

                Narcissism defined folks.

You’re quoting yourself. I never said any such thing and you’ve completely misrepresented my position.
