Something I’ve noticed is that no matter what country I’m in, all of the Airbnbs (except 1) had an expired spice rack and a weird shower with no curtains, or the doors would have a huge gap where water would just go everywhere. Spices I could understand that it’s easy to forget. So now I just bring my own spices with me everywhere like a goon. But with showers, that just drives me nuts. I always end up having to lay out all the towels to prevent water from flooding everywhere.
How about you? What’s something you’ve noticed your accommodations never seem to get right?
Most commonly:
Drains clogged or drain slowly. Damaged door or window hardware doesn’t shut properly. Dull knives. Incomplete kitchens.
You can’t zoom in on the photos.
Because it’s a private apartment set up by somebody with no clue about the hospitality industry.
