Why no one’s talking about the math? Monthly expenses add to $49,000 times 12 equal $588,000 per year. That’s clearly not $300,000 and not even earning $400,000 gets you to the end of the year.

Because the joke is about spending so much money on things like porn and alcohol. It’s just a joke, no real statement of expenses.

I don’t think it’s really joke. Posts like these rely on people going in and correcting every single detail they got wrong which counts as engagement for the algorithm and the post soars. Just look at the comments here.

Renting doesn’t just mean that you can’t afford to buy. It’s got other advantages, like not having to deal with repairs, upkeep, being able to move pretty much on a whim… Guess that’s worth it to some ppl

How does one need to spend $8000 on a car and $12000 on Uber? Someone who makes $400k/year is definitely not driving around in a crappy car that breaks down a lot lol

Ok, so this is obvious rage bait, but by pointing this out I’m making an idiot out of myself bc everyone in this thread knows that it’s rage bait and just goes along, or am I overthinking this?

The tweeter claims they spent 3k a month on their car while also spending 12k a month on uber. Think real hard and do try to take into account that this is c/shitposting.

Not helpful. Of course it’s rage bait. I just want to know if I’m supposed to act like an idiot who doesn’t get it to keep the rage baiting going or not. I can’t tell if you (STRIKING2debate2) are actually stupid or just playing a dumbass

It’s a shit post. The joke is that the person included is spending cartoonish amounts on ridiculous things. Its a shitpost in a shitposting community.

Friend, let’s discuss. I mean, do we suspect something sinister? Truly, I’m curious, cause before I deleted my reddit account, I noticed for years the algorithm going in a negative direction.

Yup. 2.5k a month brother. How else does one get ten onlyfans models to do your bidding at any given time? You unimaginative motherfuckers out there just make them finger themselves or shove dildos inside themselves. I am the one giving them hundreds to break government firewalls and spy on my enemies.

Always thought they were entertainment, as they are performers. Brothels would be more in line with porn, but still could easily called entertainment.

Sounds like dude is paying for an Only Fans girlfriend experience… but then again 12000 in uber? Dude, you are in NYC take the subway.

Perhaps they confused yearly with monthly.

Reminds of a funny story. Back when I was reviewing the contract for my current job, I noticed the HR lady confused my yearly salary with monthly. That meant they were going to pay me almost $100k per month if that contract was signed!

I pointed out the mistake three times and she insisted the contract was correct. I had to contact a company director to get it corrected.

I noticed the joke when they said “$1k a month” for rent. In New York!? Fat chance. Didn’t even read the rest of the break down, totally missed the porn thing lmao.

I bet he pays like $100 a month to go to the gym and the other $6,900 is for the medical treatment he needs to survive the alcohol he’s drinking

Asking the real question. Like, if you’re spending money on premium quality porn you need to set the mood.
