I’m in the early stages of tinkering with an idea on an analog dashboard. Very retro jetsons or maybe a little vacuum tube aesthetic, about 10” x 24”, and has about 20 or so dials, switches, and sliders on it.

I want to map them so that I have a “screen free” access to my most used automations. Lights, routines, volume knobs, etc.

I’ve been searching around for someone who’s done this already, but in haven’t seen it yet. In have a feeling it can be accomplished with a little dedication and some creative ITTT.

Has anyone tried something like this?

This sounds cool! It definitely sounds like something you could build off an RPi or Arduino. You might find some inspiration in the Home Assistant forum, they’ve got a section for showing off cool projects and I’m sure I’ve seen this type of thing in there before.
