Have you tried out Merlin firmware? I’ve found it to be a lot more stable than stock Asus firmware.
I have the same router. On mine I disabled the 160 due to instability and set 5Ghz to 80 and 2.4 to 20. Been rock solid ever since.
Thanks I just changed both settings. Do you also manually set the channel? I’m trying to find a good WiFi analyzer for iOS.
No I leave the channel on auto.
Airport utility is a start, very basic though. I agree with other commenter just change one variable at a time and test for a while.
Have you tried disabling the wifi on that router and using a dedicated wireless access point?
