Kyle Pitts has been a topic of discussion this season mainly for his lack of significant production compared to his draft overall, his rookie season, other TE’s in general, etc. So my question to you guys is what do you think Pitts will end up being on the Falcons: do you think he’s falling short due to Arthur’s Smith awful play calling and the generally terrible offense or could Pitts end up being a bust? Or do you think the truth is somewhere in the middle?
He’s suffering under a bad QB situation
When he had Matt who was playing half an arm he had 1k yard season. If we never chased Deshaun and Matt was our QB Kyle likely would have been on pace for 1k yards in year 2 before injury.
If we make playoffs and Arthur Smith keeps his job and we are able to get Kirk Cousins I think we will see Kyle Pitts explode.
Agreed. I hope Pitts is fully recovered to be able to play receiver though because he is bad at TE.
I’m so split on Kirk Cousins - I think he’s a severely underrated and over criticized QB, but he’s also OLD now and coming off a significant injury.
