I sometimes use travel vlogs as research material when planning my trips. I feel they have the potential to give us a glimpse of what everyday life in a foreign place away from the main sights. But I cannot for the life of me stand those vloggers who run around and yell “Hello!” at locals (I appreciate the effort to learn the local language, but who does that? That’s not normal human behaviour.).
Are there any vloggers who do not exhibit the behaviour above you could recommend?
Why watch travel vlogs when I can literally be anywhere in the world that I want?
It makes no sense to me to live vicariously through vloggers when I can step outside and vlog myself if I felt like my experiences are worth sharing. (They aren’t.)
Would you like to vlog your trial at the International Criminal Court sir?
That would be something worth vlogging!
But funny enough, my dream job once upon a time was to work in the ICC. Would be good for the memes and my career!
