He’s the only true problem with the team right now. I threw some blame at TF but when I look at it he did his job. He brought in players from free agency that have been making an impact for our defense. When u look at our defense the top performers, even if we exclude bates, were TF pickups. Besides aj terrell all of our drafted players have not produced well enough

And I used to believe TF had draft power but that clearly is AS. You can just tell by our draft picks who is choosing these guys. It’s like AS gets the front end of the draft and TF has to find 6 rounds and undrafted talent.

Then on top of that it’s has been AS decision to go with ridder. It has been decision to miss on parsons and to miss on a couple of lineman. Just to draft a wr to block in the first round. Just to lie to Pitts about you ability to get him the ball. Then u draft bijan and miss out on another baller for a tailback who runs like Saquan but you got him playing slot receiver.

Dude is looking like a football idiot. Especially since his run game ain’t working.

TF is responsible for the funk the Falcons are currently in for pursuing Watson and giving Ryan the lack of respect shaft. It was time for Ryan to go but the way the whole thing was handled caused the team to lack. TF is as much at fault as anyone and should pay the same whatever happens

What in the world? Are we still on this? While a Falcons legend, Ryan was garbage his final season in the NFL. It was absolute highway robbery to get a 3rd for him. There’s a reason he’s STILL on CBS when guys like Tim Boyle and Aidan O’Connell are starting NFL games.

Could we have handled it better as an organization? Probably, but given that he HAD to go either way, it doesn’t really matter. There’s clearly no hard feelings now. And it CERTAINLY has nothing to do with the fact that we’re a poorly-coached, disappointing excuse for a football team.

Not handling it better is one of the primary reasons the team has a lack of chemistry and has yet to develop on consistent chip on the shoulder attitude. I guess you miss some things when reading. I said Ryan was done either way, but when a GM totally botches a deal like TF did with Watson while mishandling the departure of one of on the franchise’s greatest QBs, unprofessional stuff happens all around.

So your argument is the team “lacks chemistry” because of a “botched” Watson deal over a year and a half ago. I’m losing brain cells by participating in this discussion, so I’m out.

Mojo, chemistry whatever you want to call it. Yep, whether it’s obvious to you or not poor leadership from the top whether it’s a coach, GM, or owner can affect the players. Just common sense.
