Isnt Biden the one who pushed for closing gas refinaries?

Wouldn’t have made much of a difference. Gas prices went up globally after the start of the Russian invasion. This is because Europe got cut off from Russian supply, increasing demand from non-Russian suppliers, and therefore the amount they can get away with charging everyone.

There is also the fact that this happened before the Ukraine invasion. While tensions were mounting, sure, but few people could have believed that Russia would go as far as it did.

    And burning our petrolium reserved?

He sold it. To add more supply to the marketplace, therefore lessening the price hike by limiting what other suppliers can get away with, lest they be undercut and lose business.

    Basic supply and demand.
