FART is most certainly a real word that is prominent in the lexicon.
If it’s not a word, then 90% of what I’ve been saying my whole life is not words.
Scrabble isn’t about words that are real, it’s about words in the official Scrabble dictionary with mechanics specifically related to calling out when a word is not in the official dictionary.

The scrabble dictionary sucks though. They allow non words like pssst and Zzz. It’s stupid.
My dude, it is a game. One who saw a radical meta shift when the word Qi was added, now being played in a majority of tournament games. If you don’t like it then just make your own game or house rule it to be something else, but if you’re playing on the official Scrabble app why wouldn’t it go by the official Scrabble rules?
