It’s so surreal too, the way it transitions into the mission, almost giving you a perspective that nobody living can explain what it’s like to be in, for obvious reasons. You can try to imagine it, but seeing it, even on a screen, much different ball game. Alot of emotion to decompress from right after that final mission and cutscene and intensity the first time you beat it.
Not to mention the feeling I had as a kid who grew up on Halo… Watching Spartans die for the very first time was haunting. And then your screen cracks. Really rough emotions that day.
I played that as a young kid, it was the first time I ever saw a main character die, as well as my first halo game. So I went into the mission thinking it was possible to make it out alive. Imagine my surprise when I finally died and realized there was ever an chance to make it off Reach
