pretty much the title, if Madrid isn’t in for him anymore, who could afford him?, and where could he be the most successful?

He has the potential to be one of the greatest but I don’t see that happening at psg, as he won’t really be taken seriously until he plays in an actually competitive league

I don’t see him playing for Man City, Madrid seems fed up with his transfer antics, so where to?

Where he should go and where he will go are interesting questions. In truth only a handful of clubs can actually afford those wages, probably any Saudi club, Madrid, Chelsea, City, maybe Bayern. Now if Bayern hadn’t just bought Kane I’d say that would have been the right move for Mbappe… City aren’t letting Haaland leave anytime soon, Madrid’s out and surely he’s too young and ambitious for the Saudi move just yet.

So we get into scenarios of clubs who wouldn’t normally be able to afford him, but might if other things happen. If Liverpool sell Salah to Saudi in the summer for upwards of £150m, which is very likely, then I think there’s a chance ( a small chance) that they bid for Mbappe and he comes because of Klopp and it’s Liverpool after all. If Madrid or Barca go for Saka for a similar fee, then maybe there’s a chance he goes to Arsenal, because , well, London and a chance at the title if he’s there

Although I don’t think any of the above are likely, for me he signs a new deal at PSG and complains about it constantly, slowly becoming a billionaire, until he goes to Saudi and becomes the richest footballer in history.

Klopp couldn’t handle him. Why would he take three steps backwards in his career by joining the awful EPL? It’s Real or stay at PSG.

Interesting you think Klopp isn’t an elite manager, most fans and pundits do. If you look at his record he’s up there with the best of them. As to suggesting the French league is anywhere near the quality of the EPL, all I can say is you can’t watch a lot of both leagues, because psg wouldn’t be guaranteed top 4 in EPL and the other good teams wouldn’t be near the top 6. Spain is a league of 3-4 excellent teams and a lot of very average ones. I get the sense you don’t watch a lot of EPL, you should, the lowest team can beat the best team and quite often do. It’s probably the best league in the world. Mbappe would be tested here.

Klopp’s record suggests he is indeed an elite manager … I consider him overrated… one EPL title … he reaches finals but more often than not loses them. He’s a perennial runner up … a bridesmaid. But that’s a personal view.

Their financial situation and all the messing about which has gone on already between the two clubs, leading to a lot of Ill feeling from psg towards real. Not impossible it happens, but personally can’t see it
