They cited past instances from Mainz and Dortmund and concluded that Klopp was done and Liverpool needed to move on. This year they are doing well despite so many red cards, deflected goals and perfectly good goal ruled out. As the season pans out, things will most likely improve and Liverpool can keep challenging City for the title
