So I just devised an elaborate organization plan to help me get through my TBR cause i realized i own 16 (16!) Unread books. I put a book buying ban on myself till I’ve read every single one of these books. I’ll be reading 3 at the same time no more no less, all of these 3 books will be different vibes/genres from eachother and from the group of 3’s before them. Everytime i finish a group of 3’s i get starbucks or an energy drink as a reward. Will this scheme fail? Probably, idk how efficient reading 3 different books at the time is as opposed to one. How do y’all get through big TBRS?

My TBR is 45 books, it was over 200 at one point. I did a huge declutter and I’ve DNF’d more this year than any other year. It’s not a bad thing, I just had a lot of free books that weren’t really my style.

Actual organising, the physical books sit on a shelf however they fit. The kindle books sit in a collection called TBR.

I have a few ways of deciding what to read. A monthly mini TBR of 12 books, I don’t always stick to it. I also have a D20 TBR (gives me an excuse to use said D20) which is similar but I put books that I’ve been hanging on to for ages on that list.

I have a list of my kindle TBR from lowest page count to highest. Currently that’s how I pick my next read, it’s going well.
