I know this book is talked about frequently among book lovers, so I decided to pick it up and see what I thought. I’m about 400 pages in and am obsessed with it, I just want to keep reading it every second of free time I have. But damn! I don’t know if I can continue reading it anymore. The writing is so beautiful at times that it moves me to tears, but I can’t stand the descriptive and appalling moments of utter despair and violence. I feel so conflicted.

My question is: to those who have read it, was it worth it in the end? Are you glad you finished it? Or do you wish you had never read it?

I just want to hear all of your guys’ thoughts on the book. Thanks!
