From what i can tell only Patino & Okonkwo have good seasons so far.

Tierneys season seems unlucky so far but I’m hopeful it could still change with Real Sociedad progressing in the CL, there should be playing time at some point. And at least he was on the bench on their last game.

Lokonga has a nightmare of a season, the players that are put infront of him are way below first League level and he doesn’t even make the bench. I think he needs to change to a league that leaves up more Space for the Midfielders. I neither see him at Arsenal nor at a different PL Club.

Tavares should pray for total chaos at Nottingham, Cooper seems to already have written him off. I really wanna see him play in the PL. He isn’t consistent but he is a playertype that has big moments.

What about Marquinhos? I don’t get why he doesn’t even make the bench for Nantes since 2 months. I rate him and hoped he would be a Saka-Backup in 1-3 years. He clearly has talent.

I appreciate your thought and insights.

I had forgotten about Marquinhos. Hopefully we find a better place than Nantes for him.

Nantes let Marquinhos go to the u23 pan American games for the last month and he has only played 88 minutes for for Nantes, so he’s probably surplus to requirements for them. I’d expect we recall him in January and we loan him out elsewhere

At this point, I don’t have much hope for any of those loanees. Apart from Patino, tierney too but the brother is always injured.

A shame about sambi, not sure why, but I had high hopes for him when he came in lol. If he’s not making the bench at Luton then maybe it’s more than just a talent thing…

We need to move on from Sambi and as much as I love him Vieira. We are operating at a different level now. They won’t make it. Tierney is brittle. Patino and Marquinhos are worth spending time on. Have no idea about Okonkwo but he is unlikely to make it if Ramsdale is struggling. Let him come back and we sell if we can.

Tavares I actually agree. He has a physicality and chaos factor that we can use in some games. I hope he becomes useful. Having said that, with Timber Zinny Tomi KT I don’t know where we fit him. He’s also going to get sold in the summer. Or maybe we sell KT and retain him? I don’t think Arteta is a fan of chaos. He needs mature players with very very calm heads. Nuno won’t ever be that imo.

Actually Tierney back on the bench already is really good to hear. He was starting regularly before he got injured and I’d expect him to start again soon once he regains full fitness. And the reports are that Sociedad are already considering making the move permanent, so I’d say it’s not been a bad loan at all injury aside.

Tierney was in the starting XI before sustaining an injury 6 weeks ago. As someone else pointed out, it’s actually a really good sign that he’s back on the bench already. He’ll feature regularly again once fit.

Unfortunate about the bad loanees but I prefer to focus on the positive. Arthur Okonkwo having back to back good loan spells and Patino taking giant leaps.

Could make a case that those two could both contribute to the first team next season. If we sell Ramsdale, maybe we recall Okonkwo to deputize for Raya? Emi Martinez vibes? You never know

I remember when other Gunners wanted at least £25m for Tavares and £40m for Tierney. We’d be lucky to get half that for them.

I like Tierney but man is made of glass and Tavares needs to really work on himself.

Think we’ll be lucky to even get half…would we get even get 10 mill for Tavares since he can’t even start for Nottingham? Becoming apparent to the whole footballing world tierney is made from glass ( ironic cause I use to Think he was made from steel 😂 )…I think if sociedad offer anywhere near 20 mill we accept right away

I thought our loan decisions were abysmal this year, could see most of them flopping the second they were arranged
