One of my favorite activities is seeing where a creator applies themselves in their work.

Jane Austen: All the Janes.

    Kurt Vonnegut has Killgore Trout, who is basically Kurt as a bitter curmudgeon who writes sci-fi schlock that only a dozen people read. Hilariously those people tend to be the most powerful people on Earth, but it still never leads to any success in his life.

    The Characters in the Dark Tower actually talk to Stephen King and it is revealed the gunslinger is a doppelganger for King. Im not sure how much of a stand in he is though.
