Honestly, what the fuck is going on with Ten Hag and United players? Within a season and a half, he has fallen out with Ronaldo, De Gea, Sancho, and Varane, there are even rumors about Casemiro problems. You could say that Ronaldo has a big ego and Sancho is a spoiled brat, but the other two have been model professionals for their entire career up to this point.
We know for a fact that a good manager must be authoritative, but I feel this is going too far. Honestly, this might be the best argument against ETH, not the results. His ego looks gigantic which is necessary to be successful at this level, but you need to control yourself enough to keep the players on your side.

I think the problem with Ten hag is that he’s used to younger developing players, not mature guys who have already achieved success and they clash with how he does things. The fact he didn’t value Ronaldos experience and didn’t see how having someone who has achieved everything and also wishes for more success as being an asset to team, says all you need to know about this coach. He isn’t big time. Go back to the dutch league and coach kids.
