HELP Since I can remember my mum (72) has talked about a book she read when she was younger called Eleanor to the Rescue, I have searched the internet but as I don’t know the author or plot I’m not getting far. I really wanted to get her a copy for Christmas but as yet have had no success. If anyone has any information on this book I would really appreciate your help.

    Hmm. Okay, it seems unlikely it was a book about Eleanor Roosevelt. But I’m reaching.

    I tried: classic book “To the rescue” for the search. I recommend such. It might not get you what you want, but there’ll be some really interesting things. … I MIGHT HAVE FOUND IT!

    Eve To The Rescue, by Ethel Houston. You can find it on Project Gutenberg if not in real life. Eve’s name is Eveley!!!
