DUP MP Jim Shannon has likened grey squirrels to Palestinian terrorists during a Westminster debate on the animals on Tuesday.

The Strangford politician told fellow MPs that “grey squirrels are the Hamas of the squirrel world” in a debate on considering control of the grey squirrel population in the UK.
