      Based on what? I’d love your reasoning here because looking at all the decisions MS/Xbox have been making up until now, including this now, I can’t imagine why they would want to kill off Xbox.

        Not profitable enough for the total investment they did in the last couple years. They’ve been third for the last 10 year and their games barely won big award. And recently most of their AAA games has been disappointing at some degree and/or bad reviews.

        Microsoft was going to cut the Xbox and gaming part of their company off until Phil Spencer became CEO because it wasn’t profitable enough, and now they’ve wasted more and more money and it’s just as unprofitable.
