If you like Bethesda games you’ll like it. Yes it’s barren in some places but the cities and quest feel like Bethesda. If you don’t like them a ton, you probably won’t like it. (I could be wrong but that’s how I see it, I like starfield, but it doesn’t beat fallout 3, nv or even 4 for me)
I am a Bethesda fanboy and like you I didn’t like Starfield as much as any as their other games. I’ve never had buyer’s remorse from their other games like I did with Starfield
I got Starfield for free with my purchase of a Ryzen 7 7700X and have not even redeemed it
I did the first like opening mission and got bored and never touched it again. Didn’t feel bad bc same with me I didn’t pay for it
