    You clearly don’t know shit about the area.

    First, Israel is not in the EU or US, Israelis can’t just leave to another country. They need a citizenship or a work visa. Israel do suffers a brain drain, but like most societies, the majority doesn’t have the skills or money required to leave.

    So it is not a choice Israelis do.

    The majority voted against the current government, and millions if people went on a weekly basis to demonstrate against the current government. Including massive civil disobedience, harrasment of ministers at their home, and much more.

    This all stopped when Hamas attacked.

    So most Israelis can’t leave, but they try to change. Making your second point wrong.

    Secondly, there are no settlments in Gaza, there are no colonies in Gaza, this is not an uprising of the oppressed. This is an attempt by a religous organization, that has roots in a movement that exists longer than Israel does, that want to kill all Jews in the area.
