    We could end up seeing a major backlash against liberalism when people are finally forced to grapple with the reality of the world. People tend to get angry when they realize they’ve been made fools of.

      We better have a sizable movement and have made our perspective widely known by then or peoples are gonna go right. After all, the Republicans and their equivalent elsewhere, for whatever reasons, have been relatively speared by the liberal craziness over the resent geopolitical developments. Which might have been a conscious move from the right for that very purpose.

        I agree, unless there’s a principled anti war movement on the left, then people are going to flock to the right once they become disillusioned with the war. The fact that most of western left hitched themselves to the lib war mongers is an absolute disaster.
