Right now I can only think on… Spider-Man 2 and matrix the path of Neo.

Kingsglaive (the awesome “final fantasy 15 prelude” movie that was even better than the majority of the game, a must-watch for fans of fantasy-action)

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (excellent movie based on the game)

    Batmam, arkham asylum VR

The game messes with your mind and is really well made.

However, it is really short, so feels like an extremely well made demo.

Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay was really fucking good. And freaky as shit. Played it when I was like 10. Somehow I also ended up watching the movies and loved them. Surprised there wasn’t more.

The Godfather and I really can’t think of one that’s even close.

The gameplay loop is addicting as all hell, and playing as a character who wasn’t in the source material and seeing the story unfold from his perspective was genius.

The old NES Batman was fabulous, especially in a system where almost all movie adaptations were cheap cash grabs.

For SNES I’d say Aladdin and the tough as nails Star Wars trilogy, especially 1 and 3 (2 was just too annoyingly difficult)

Surprised no one seems to have mentioned Guardians of the galaxy from what I’ve seen. That’s a great game, solid VA and gorgeous graphics, gameplay is smooth although a little basic ,but gets away with it because it’s a narratively driven game.

GoldenEye is a good shout, for the time it was amazing, probably in the top 3 best titles for the N64.

Alien Isolation is also a good shout by some comments, it really captures that feeling of being prey and at the mercy of your own wit to a large degree. Great atmosphere.

Mad Max is decent, just solid fun gameplay.

I hesitated to say Guardians because it’s based off of comic books, but so are a lot of other comments here as well, so I’m going for it.
