Trying to abolish religion is a fruitless effort and reduces people’s rights.

You and I won’t live in a time with no religion, but if we give it time and reinforce egalitarian societies that don’t tolerate religious authoritarianism, it will naturally fade away as technology and standard of living grow.

I don’t really like where religion has brought us to either, but enough secular authoritarianism exists for me to realize this isn’t a religion problem it’s a human psychology problem and religion is just the most often used and likeliest outlet.
