I think it’s an enjoyable series!
It’s a solid series. The first episode is really special and what sets it apart. They handled that really well.
I thought the first episode was great, but since then have been waiting on it to pick back up. I am going to finish the season but for such a strong start, it seems to be all over the place now.
Anime only here. I’m really enjoying the ride and hope it sticks the landing. It was worth the long pilot and I hope that didnt stop others
I too am anime only. The only series since Madoka Magica that compelled me to rewatch episodes while still airing.
First episode was amazing, then it slowed down a bit but still wasn’t bad by any means. Now it picked up again in the last few episodes and it’s great. Also the animation is way better than it realistically needs to be for a show like this
It’s my favorite in a while
it’s a lovely adaptation, as someone who’s read onk since more or less the beginning it’s pretty great.
Nearly any positive superlative you can think of applies. Take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I went in blind to Oshi No Ko and it is an incredible experience. My top anime of the year, easily, and so far as I have seen this season (e7), it probably breaks into my top 5 of all time. Written by the same person who did Love is War, the character driven drama is incredibly impressive. An extremely rich show, absolutely captivating and realist. It’s harsh, and beautiful.
It’s one of the best shows of the season by far. I was reading the manga before the anime was even announced.
Tengoku Daimakyo (Heavenly Delusion) is also pretty good.
Ooo post apocalyptic? Count me in.
Thinking that it would be so cool for an OVA style Fallout anime like Edge Runners. Could even be done by Trigger too.
I just finished binging what’s available of the manga. It is so good. Too bad it’s in a stacked season, but it’s definitely top notch. Environment, character design, everything.
Really good.
It’s going to technically going to be my partner’s first isekai, but I got her to watch it because I know she likes murder mystery shows.
Question for manga readers, how much of the manga are they going to possibly fit in the season? Curious if I should start reading the source material or not in case I have to wait for another season for it to finish
Oshi No Ko isn’t really an isekai because they are reincarnated into the same world.
Yeah I guess you are right. What would that type of reincarnation genre be? Dr Stone would almost fall into this category, but I don’t know of others ATM.
It’s been super good so far. Are we starting episode discussions here?
I keep switching between Oshi and Lv999 as my favorite anime of the season depending on which one I watched last haha.
I didn’t watch lv999 I thought it looked to generic looking at the cover, should I watch?
Have you picked up Skip & Loafer as well? More on the side of Lv999 than Oshi
