I would just like to take a moment to say that every single major and minor character in The Owl House, except for the humans at Luz’s old school, is autistic.
Autistic characters:
Luz Camila Willow Gus Eda Lilith Hunter Kikimora Belos Amity Ed Emira King Bosha Bump Faust Steve Vee Collector and every single other character who ever appears in the demon realm ever and also both employees of the historical society and also the other kids from reality check camp.
Don’t forget the Disney that sent a Terminator after Owl House.
Such a good show but they got a gay relationship and AFAIK it was cancelled for having a plot which the exec thought wouldn’t work in a cartoon
First same sex kiss between two main characters in a Disney property. Then “the show doesn’t really fit our brand”
it was amidst COVID cuts, sure, but probably an easy win for some exec to axe.
