These trains run at 300-350 km/h, while being both a lot cheaper and more convenient than flying.
When the next generation of 600-km/h maglev trains come fully into service, there’s going to be no point in flying at all.
I mean someone has to use them, as far as I understand most of them are running at a loss because it’s too expensive for normal people to take them.
It’s almost like government funded programs can operate for the benefit of the people instead of the profit of shareholders. Crazy stuff!
