I took my first dose of semaglutide last night. It’s only 5 units for the first month, then 10 units the 2nd month, then 20 units after that. I was scared to inject myself but it didn’t hurt! It didn’t sting like a flu shot does. I was given anti nausea medicine but didn’t need to take it. Today my appetite hasn’t been very different. I assume my appetite will change over the next 12 weeks. I’m looking forward to trying this for awhile, and hoping for results.
Hey-congrats on beginning your journey! I’ve been on semaglutide since april and i’ve lost 25lbs so far. It was weird injecting myself too, but now I feel like a pro at it. I haven’t really been dealing with any nausea either, which i’m really grateful for. My appetite changed pretty quickly but it did take a few doses…just stick with it and trust the process! Would love to hear an update on how you are feeling
