It’s 2023. If your company doesn’t offer chat or phone support in this era you are that store that doesn’t take credit cards. You’re not going to make it.

Lansweeper only offers support via email, and those emails are not returned. I suffered a license issue that took two days to get resolved, all the while down, and Lansweeper could not have cared any less. I decided not to renew our license. Two weeks later they sent me a renewal with a 40% increase.

I had a chuckle as I deleted that email.

Same. We’ve ditched Asset Management on that level and pulled the trigger on a full ITSM. The fact that they neglected the Helpdesk like crazy and they forced the cloud option on to us (one of the reasons to specifically choose Lansweeper was the 100% on-Prem promise) AND they bought cloudokit AND upped the prices like crazy…hard nope.

I’ve switched to MECM, as I have a lot of experience with it from my previous position and it works perfectly for my needs. We have a good contract with Microsoft so we can get stuff for relatively cheap.

Really? MECM is a behemoth of a product. If you’re familiar enough then sure, but I wouldn’t wish that on anyone without special experience.

I’ve looked at Manage Engine before. But not too extensively.

Lansweeper us super cheap compared to the other options. We just renewed and there was no 40 percent increase and the process was done via PO just like the precious years. Perhaps you need a new var
