When this card got a reprint now, I saw that people were happy because the price was high. I bought a playset some years ago for a couple of cents and did not know the card got so pricey. The card never did anything in my casual token deck back then, so they are in my binder since then. I wondered why the card costs like 30€. What makes this card so expensive? Where does it see play?

As far as I know there’s nothing specifically crazy that happens with it, it’s just a really good fog: one-sided, plus it generates what can be quite a large board for fairly cheap, regardless of the rest of your board state. So your opponent can attack into what they think is a totally open board and get wrecked. And compared to [[Settle the Wreckage]] which also kinda does that, Settle doesn’t improve your board state.

That said, it would not be its current price without scarcity either. It only had one print in a precon a while ago.
