    I suspect that, prior to watching the film, Sam did not know the part of the story where Oppenheimer is a communist. It must have hurt to realize that his heroic physicist was not a John Galt.

          bioshock was such a passionate hate letter to libertarian ideas that a bunch of right-wing streamers took it upon themselves to trick children into thinking the game is apolitical and Andrew Ryan is actually the good guy

      Didn’t they stop just short of actually saying that? Just implied that he was very sympathetic to them (and of course was involved in organizing labour)

Oppenheimer must have been such a cool guy! Science can never do anything bad! I am not capable of critical thought!”
