I’m not a huge gamer myself but this one stands out from all the other games I’ve ever played. For the most part it’s just a hiking simulator but once you find yourself fully geared and having invested 20 hours into your character and are sneaking around a horde of zombies it can be a truly nerve cracking experience. It’s the only game I’ve played where you really really really don’t want to die and if you’re playing with a friend and he gets shot it’s heartbreaking and I’ve even ruined my day by shooting an innocent survivor for no reason and then feeling absolutely shitty about myself for having done that.
