The biggest giveaway was when key alt right congress people said it was antifa and when people suggested that it be investigated, they still said no.

I mean, it was antifa or it was Trump supporters. Pick a lane.

Kinda like how they want to subpoena and question Hunter Biden.

He says, “Sure, no problem, as long as it’s done in public, in front of cameras.”

      And they say no.

      It’s so blatantly obvious.

I haven’t been following the whole Hunter Biden thing.

What’s their reason for having a closed door session?

Because they want to be the only ones who can walk out of the room and tell the story of what went on. Basically: if it’s done in public they won’t be able to lie about it.

They know they are full of shit. Also something about not wanting Dems to have public opportunity to address their line of questioning because somehow it’ll waste more time than what they’re wasting already (and they know it will make them look stupid. Again.)

They don’t say things to make sense or to convince normal, not bugfuck insane people, it’s to give their increasingly untethered to reality based ginned up and angry at ghosts of real problems.

      Reminds me of a story.

You’ve probably heard of the Branch Davidians/Waco massacre. The tl, dr is that an ATF sting went horribly wrong and a lot of people died after the FBI failed to get the suspects to surrender. After the incident, there was a push to get rid of the ATF and move it’s work to the FBI. The Right opposed this, because they’d prefer to have gun enforcement in the hands of a weaker, less politically powerful agency.

The Right loves police and law enforcement, until it doesn’t.
