recent: tears of the kingdom, or as i like to call it botw 1.2, its the same thing all over again just with one or two added gimicks, the open world is dead, npcs are boring and nintendo just got away with it like that
not so recent: i cant stand persona 5, joker and his entourage are annoying teenagers, the time management is a horrible gameplay addition and the artstyle is just a visual overstimulation

Endwalker also killed FFXIV for me, but for different reasons. I think I was about to get on par with the story, or maybe I was on par with the story and catching up on side content, when endwalker dropped.
Wasn’t able to log in for 3 days due to the insane queues, then other stuff happened and didn’t manage to log in for a week, forgot my rotations, which were also no longer the correct rotations, and also forgot what I was doing and what was happening story wise.
Tried to get back into it but simply dropped it after a couple of days instead.
