There are quite a few characteristics that set it apart.

there is literally nothing any of us can do about it now.

masking, testing, nasal sprays, cpc mouth wash, socializing outdoors when possible, and having conversations about these things with people we care about are some of the things we can do.

Yeah if the governments of the world actually gave a shit and enforced a lockdown period then maybe it could be stopped but individually refusing to go outside is not fixing anything nor is socializing some inherently evil thing now

I haven’t seen anyone say that there is a problem with going outside or that socializing is inherently evil. How do you feel about masking? It was conspicuously absent in your comment, which to me reads something like “because capitalism exists i am justified in thinking only of myself”
