Title…, but also again this is kinda how I though that the internet was in the expanse where each station each planet and each ship kinda worked. Now we are the people traveling from one station to another and connecting the servers and the leaving for some other place, I really can’t wait to see the fediverse grow to the scales of the expanse

    I never connected those dot but I 100% agree. Each group (ship, planet, station, etc) is like the instances and they update across each other constantly keeping there own local copy to take with them wherever they go. Also, imagine how massive the storage array is on say the Canterbury.
