Well I volunteered for years at our local aviary and we had crows coming by to check out our activity a lot. Sometimes we had to hide the smaller birds if we were out showing them, because larger ones would swoop over trying to figure out how to attack them.
If anything I’ve learned to respect birds and not just assume they’re totally harmless.

Crows are scary smart. New Caledonian crows make, modify and use tools!
They’re pretty intelligent, they can discern patterns in people’s behavior. And yes I know they use tools also. Pretty amazing for so small an animal.
