So I am planning a trip to Denmark around April time and I will be staying in Copenhagen and on one of the days I will be visiting Billund to go to the Lego house and also on another day maybe visiting Malmo in Sweden for the day aswell but I am having trouble finding train tickets could someone help me please?

Use public transportation around in CPH, but would personally suggest renting a car, for going to Billund/Malmø, esp. with such a short timeframe.

That said going to billund for 1 day by public transport is gonna be a long as trip of about 4 hours each way.

You have the possibillity to buy a Rejsekort Anonym at the Hovedbanegården or copenhagen airport . You can use it to travel to Billund and Malmo and most other public transportation,maybe a little loss as You have to transfer money in advance to the card. But if you make sure to have aprox 1500-dkr on the card You should be good to go (Fare cph billund aprox 800 dkr roundtrip. cph malmo aprox 200 roundtrip and enough to travel back an forth to the airport and around copenhagen. The systen is very easy to use You place the card at a check in post at the beginning of Your journey,if You change transport on the way fx from busto metro or another metro line etc.You check in again, when your journey ends You place your card on a check out post.
