Seems kind of undemocratic to ignore the demands of the people that voted for you.
He was elected on the pretense that he would cancel student loans, stop covid, fix healthcare, stop the border camps, etc. But he hasn’t done any of those things.
Pretty sorry democracy the US has. Some free country should liberate them.
If i understand things correctly biden cancelled 2.2%, 39 billion, of the 1.7 trillion debt burden, and told the other 97.8% of people he promised relief to to fuck off and die, right?
My impression was basically that they just started doing what they were already meant to be doing with student debt - canceling stuff for people who worked in nonprofits, or who got scammed.
Yeah, I remember hearing years back that the alleged forgiveness you were supposed to get for x years of public employement was difficult to ever actually get.
