LOL, more distraction from one party’s inability to do their freaking job. It’s funny that 1) alien visitors cross unfathomable distances using what must be technology far, far, in advance of anything we have, yet “crash” and 2) These “crashes” only happen in the US, or the US quickly swoops in to take all evidence of this from foreign countries.

This is a bipartisan issue, Republicans and Democrats alike were questioning the witnesses, however I do agree with you that this is a distraction.
How is this guy a “whistle blower” if he’s never seen any actual evidence? So dumb.
They did read the article. That’s how they know his allegations barely rise to the level of hearsay.
My interpretation is that it’s mostly half-truths.
Do I think governments and militaries around the world have plans for such scenarios? Like retrieving UFOs? Yes, this seems reasonable. Do I think they have run exercises and tested those scenarios for real? Probably, yes. Most likely successfully so. Do I believe that someone with a lot of hearsay could interpret those things as “holy shit, they actually found something”? Yes, yes I do.
Is any of this proof? Nope. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
Any decent military is going have crash retrieval teams. It’s called CSAR - combat search and rescue. If a Russian or Chinese jet crashes somewhere neutral, we are going to race to get there. If it’s our own F-35, we will get there even faster and probably fight anyone who tries to get there first. I imagine you would do this for any interesting craft that crashes.
Exactly, and when something crashes in the ocean it might be full off sea weed errr, I mean non-human biologics. And if equipment from foreign nations were recovered of course they’d get reverse engineered.
Knowing how secretive militaries tend to be about their missions … of course the whistleblower gets stonewalled when trying to inquire about it.
I haven’t seen a single claim that couldn’t be explained with something mundane.

There’s nothing new to discuss.
Quite vague. Nonhuman biologics can be anything. Grass, bacteria, mold, cats…
Noneartly biologics would be more interesting.
The aliens look just like us but are attracted to positions of power and clearly have no idea how their job works.
This is weird. Like, so weird.
I have a few interpretations if this based on my limited understanding if it.
I think the oversite committee has to hear him out. Ignoring a complaint from multiple members of military about potential misappropriation of funding would be egregious on their part. So they are listening to everything and trying to be professional about it.
Now the cynic in me believes this is actually a genius way to push pulp. If this guy writes a book (assuming he hasn’t already) he’s just given himself enormous credibility and advertising at little to no cost. Loud enough to be heard but vague enough that he can’t be disproven or take on any accountability.
But the conspiracy theorist in me just sees this as an attempt to discredit and humiliate this and other sub committee’s. Ammo that can be used to try and shut it down or prevent them from more serious work.
Though I’m a Candain and only getting bits and pieces of this story so I’m probably way off base here.

That whould definitely alter my speculations. Assuming we actually hear about anything said during this closed session.
Of course he could walk into the closed meeting room emit a loud 23 second fart, then leave without a word. If the public isn’t privvy to what happens in that meeting he can claim to have said whatever he wants and never get disproven.
