    I’m a bit sad the wind industry isn’t working as well as the solar industry in terms of growth. Especially as this shows in the winter at that altitude wind is the obvious solution (unless solar gets ludicrously cheap).

    But wind power in Europe is such a huge force and other countries need to catch up.

    That happened before and is not even that uncommon. What is remarkable is how low the gas is today. This and the massive increase in solar is going to give coal an extremely hard time this summer.

    As for wind we have seen a lot of offshore projects being started in the last couple years. Obviously some are going to fail, but the once which make it should make this more common. Some onshore is built as well.
